After three consecutive delays since its 2019 announcement, Pearl Abyss has confirmed a firm release window for Crimson Desert, alongside a new gameplay trailer.

The combat system reworked yet again

The studio confirms melee combat chains have been reworked for the third time since the announcement, chasing a balance between Black Desert’s technicality and the accessibility of a mainstream action RPG.

Player trust still needs rebuilding

After this many delays, part of the community that’s followed the game since 2019 now wants concrete proof rather than another impressive-but-unplayable trailer.
