EA Sports FC 27: dates, editions and early access before September 25

Global launch on September 25, early access from the 18th for Ultimate editions, and a discount for FC 26 owners. Here's how to pick your edition.

EA Sports FC 27 launches on September 25, 2026 on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and PC (EA App, Steam, Epic Games Store). The Steam listing shows September 24. Here’s what to know before pre-ordering.

Three editions, one early access window

According to EA, pre-orders have been open since July 23. The table below sums up the differences.

Early access starts on September 18 for the Ultimate editions. Ultimate Plus was only sold from July 23 to August 31, and isn’t available on Nintendo platforms or the Epic Games Store.

How much does it cost?

The Steam listing shows $69.99 for the Standard edition. According to trade press, Ultimate is $99.99 and Ultimate Plus was $149.99. EA also lists a 10% discount for EA Play subscribers and for players who own FC 26 on the chosen platform.

Pre-order bonuses

Every edition includes Career mode content (three ICONs or Heroes, a coach, challenges) and items for The Grounds, including a signature sweatsuit. For FC 26 bonuses, Standard gets a 92+ OVR ICON item, while Ultimate gets a stat evolution and an ICON pick.

Our take before release
